About This Dog for Adoption

Lynn's ideal home

Sweet and intelligent girl Lynn is a 5 year old Border Collie who loves going out and exploring the big, wide world. She is a busy girl and currently has little time for toys, she may chase a ball that is thrown for her, but then soon loses interest. She enjoys a little fuss and a cuddle in short bursts, she loves to stand with you and get her neck and ears scratched before heading off to explore and sniff. This beautiful girl is on the hunt for her new home.

Could you be Lynn's perfect match?

Lynn is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who could live with older primary school children who will give her time to settle in, play with her nicely and give her space to rest when needed. Lynn would like to be the only pet in the home so she can have all of the attention to herself, she could have walking buddies who respect her space and understand that she could be a little intense. Lynn has a little training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, she is a clever girl, but can be easily distracted by her surroundings, so would benefit from training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. She is looking for a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about and explore in at her leisure. Lynn can be a little worried being left alone so would like adopters who are home the majority of the time, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Lynn will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
