Ella is a sensitive and gentle young Border Collie who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. At just 1 year and 2 months old, she can be shy and timid, especially with new people, and will need a patient and understanding home that allows her to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels secure, Ella enjoys affection and will happily accept a fuss from those she knows well. She can be worried by loud noises and may alarm bark at unfamiliar visitors, though she does settle as she gains confidence. Her new family will need to support her with positive reassurance and avoid overwhelming situations while she continues to grow in confidence.

Ella would thrive in a calm home environment with access to a secure garden where she can relax and feel safe. She is able to be left alone for periods and settles well, and she travels comfortably in the car.
