Uber
About This Dog
Uber's ideal home
Super smart and cuddly boy Uber is a 1 and a half year old Border Collie with a heart of gold. He can take a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable around you he gives such lovely, warm snuggles. As a companion on walks he is first class! He loves a good sniff and explore of interesting places, and keeps pace with his humans, the perfect walking buddy. He loves to play, he will happily chase balls that are thrown for him and likes to engage with a flirt pole toy. If he catches hold of his teddies he will shake them and throw them around with glee. This pawsome pooch is ready to find his new home.
Could you be Uber's perfect match?
Uber is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He is a friendly bean who could live with secondary school children who can let him approach at his own pace, who will play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when needed. Uber likes all of the attention to himself, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, he would benefit from having polite and calm walking buddies who will help him to build confidence around socialising with other dogs. Uber is a clever guy and already has a little training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, he is eager to engage in training in short, sweet sessions as long as a tasty treat is on offer. He would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about in at his leisure. Uber can be worried being left alone, so is looking for a family with someone home the majority of the time, especially to begin with, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Uber will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear all of this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
