Cass is a bright and bouncy 4-month-old Border Collie pup who’s full of beans and brimming with potential. With her sweet nature, waggy tail, and playful spirit, Cass is ready to wriggle her way into your heart and your home! Like many young Collies, she’s clever, full of energy, and thrives on interaction, so she’ll need a family who can offer her plenty of fun, structure, and enrichment as she grows. Cass would love a home with a secure, private garden (with a minimum 6ft fence) where she can run, explore, and burn off her energy in safety. She could live with children aged 6 and up, and might enjoy having a calm, friendly dog in the home to show her the ropes. She is working hard on her toilet training, and she’ll need a family who can continue to support her through all the usual puppy stages.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Border Collie Owners website
Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
