About This Dog for Adoption

Nala's ideal home

Nala is a shy but chatty girl who would love to find a quiet home. She won't want to live with young children as she prefers a hands-off approach. Those of secondary school age will be fine as long as they can respect her space. Once she’s settled she’ll be able to welcome younger visitors too. Nala needs to be the only dog in the home as she finds them quite worrying, though she is able to walk alongside doggy friends. Nala has lived with cats before and could do so again as long as her new family are able to introduce them slowly, potentially keeping them separate at first. A secure garden will be essential for Nala as she can be quite a worried girl out and about, so she will appreciate the opportunity to have outside time in a safe space.

Could you be Nala's perfect match?

Nala is a 6 year old Collie cross who came into our care through absolutely no fault of her own. She’s a really friendly lady but can be quite conflicted with handling so is looking for a family that will give her space. She’s got loads of positives in her home history. She’s good in the car, fully housetrained and has been happy being left for a few hours at a time. Nala’s ideal family will be able to listen to her body language and understand when she’s not comfortable. We can’t wait for Nala’s new family to fall in love with her and don't think it will take long as she's very easy to love!
