About This Dog for Adoption

Dijon's ideal home

Dijon is a gorgeous boy who has come into our care with very little background, so he’s now hoping to find a patient forever home that can gently guide him as he learns about the world. He may need support with things like housetraining and getting used to spending time on his own.

He’s a bright, active lad who would thrive in a home that can keep both his body and mind busy. Dijon is very affectionate and has so much love to give, though he can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed so it’s important he has the option to take space when he needs it.

Dijon could live with children aged 8+ who are able to recognise when he’s feeling unsure. We’re still getting to know how he feels about other dogs. So far, he’s been friendly, but he can find overly boisterous dogs a bit too much. For now, he’ll need to be the only dog in the home, though calm walking companions could suit him well. This may change as we continue to learn more about him.

Could you be Dijon's perfect match?

Dijon is a gentle, sweet-natured boy who we’re sure will blossom in confidence once he’s settled into home life. He loves spending time with his carers and thoroughly enjoys sniffing and exploring on his walks. Dijon would thrive in an active forever home with adopters who can keep him happily engaged, both mentally and physically.
