About This Dog for Adoption

Nahla's ideal home

Nahla is a bright, affectionate girl looking for a home that can meet her active mind and body. She has previously lived in a home and travels very well in the car, making her a fantastic companion for road trips and adventures, and she’s comfortable being left home alone for up to four hours. Nahla loves her walks, enjoys playing with toys, and is very food motivated, which will help with training and building a strong bond with her new family. She is mostly housetrained but will benefit from a gentle refresher in a new environment. Nahla has shared her kennel with another dog and may be able to live with a canine companion following a successful meet! She could also live with children aged 8 years and over as long as they are comfortable around excitable dogs.

Could you be Nahla's perfect match?

In her previous home Nahla struggled with barking at night, so her new owners will need to attend a behaviour session focused on settle work to help her feel secure and relaxed. As a Collie, Nahla will thrive in a home that can offer plenty of mental enrichment and physical exercise.

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
