About This Dog for Adoption

August's ideal home

August and her siblings are on the lookout for their forever families! They are 8 week old Collie Crossbreed puppies and they all have the sweetest little personalities. They are having so much fun in our puppy unit playing together, but they are now ready to start their big adventures and learn about all the exciting things in life! They need adopters that will be dedicated to their training, and are ready to keep these little ones physically and mentally stimulated as they grow up. August and her siblings can live with children of primary school age and older, and as long as there is a proper introduction and management in the home, they should be able to live with other pets. It would be ideal if these puppies have access to a secure garden in their new homes so that they have somewhere to run around, stretch their legs, and explore new sights and smells.

Could you be August's perfect match?

August has 8 siblings, some of which have found their forever homes already. We can't wait for all of these little ones to find the most fantastic homes that will fill their lives with fun, love, adventures and friendship. If you think one of them could be the dog for you, then please place an adoption application and include August as a 'Favourite' dog to express your interest in the whole litter. Thank you!

Border Collie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Border Collie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
