About This Dog for Adoption

Jacob's ideal home

Meet Jacob and his 5 brothers! After a rough start to life, these pups have bounced back and are ready to find their forever homes! They are looking for supportive families who will be happy to encourage them with all their basic training and socialisation. This includes housetraining, so a large, enclosed garden space would be a wonderful help to them with this! They could live with other pets, as long as they will be happy to share their space with an energetic puppy! These puppies could potentially live with children, although they may be better suited to a home with slightly older children, especially as they grow. As long as everyone in the home is confident around a bouncy, nippy, playful puppy then children of any age will be considered for one of these pups. As they're not used to being left alone, Jacob and his brothers would like company during the day until leaving time can be gradually built up.

Could you be Jacob's perfect match?

Jacob, David, Lenny, Kaleb, AJ and Davis are 8 week old Collie crossbreed puppies. They are very sweet natured and love nothing more than a cuddle in your lap! Jacob and his brothers will grow to be active, intelligent dogs so will need regular exercise, training and daily enrichment to keep their minds stimulated. If you're an active family looking for a companion to join you on your adventures, these pups will be a fantastic friend for you! Please follow the steps below to submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" Jacob!

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Border Collie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
