About This Dog for Adoption

Dom's ideal home

Meet the new pups on the block! Dom and his six siblings are on the lookout for their forever homes! As they are only 12 weeks old they are looking for families who are willing to support and encourage them with all their basic training, including housetraining and socialisation. They could potentially live with other dogs and cats after successful meets at the centre and proper management during the early days. Dom and his siblings could live with dog savvy children who are confident around a bouncy, playful puppy! These pups have a real zest for life so would love a large, enclosed outdoor space where they can run and play to burn some of their puppy energy. They also enjoy enrichment games to help them keep their minds busy. As these pups are not used to being left alone, they would appreciate company during the day until leaving time could be built up gradually once settled in their new homes!

Could you be Dom's perfect match?

Dom, Vince, Roma, Tej, Han, Briana and Mia are adorable Collie x puppies! They are not enjoying kennel life at present so are hopeful they can find their forever homes soon. These puppies are very energetic and will grow to be active dogs so if you are looking for an adventure buddy to join you for daily walks and hikes, look no further! If you feel you have space in your home for Dom or one of his siblings, follow the steps below to submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" him!

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Border Collie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
