Pops's ideal home
Pops is a sweet older chap who loves loves loves his toys! Especially if they are soft and squeaky! He hasn't experienced much of the world so is slowly learning all about it, and this means he can sometimes be a little shy with new people. He would love to find a family who can give him time to find his paws at his own pace. Pops could live with sensible older children of 16+ and ideally with minimal visitors, who understand he's a little nervous and likes to have quiet time to himself. Pops has recently spent some time in a home with one of his favourite carers where he was picking up his housetraining, learning to settle and relax and was even happy spending a few hours home alone. He's a curious boy who enjoys exploring things at his own pace, he loved throwing his toys around by himself and with his people and then curling up for a nap. Pops must have direct access to his own garden so he can safely play and explore without the pressure of having to go for walks, he really enjoys snuffling around outside. Despite his older years Pops still has plenty of love and life left to give his forever family. Pops will need to be the only pet at the moment, as he can find other dogs a little overwhelming however he would benefit from socialisation once he's settled at home.

Pops loves nothing more than a game of chase or tug with his favourite toys. He may be a bit of a sensitive soul, but we've all fallen in love with his cheeky personality! He enjoys a long lasting chew and comfy bed for an afternoon snooze after playing the garden. Although Pops hasn't had the easiest start in life, we are certain that in a patient, understanding home he will flourish into a wonderful companion.
