Fozzy's ideal home
Fozzy is a friendly boy who is on the search for a quiet retirement home. He has been friendly with everyone he has met at the centre and is definitely a people-dog! Fozzy is wanting a quieter life so would prefer any children in the home to be of around secondary school age, but would be happy to welcome visitors. He would like his new home to be in a low-traffic and low-dog populated area as he does struggle seeing moving traffic and other dogs, and can be very vocal on lead when he sees them. A secure garden would be essential to get lots of off-lead sniffs and exercise without being disturbed. Fozzy does have arthritis and is on medication for this.

Fozzy is a bouncy Collie cross who is 9 years old and has a lot of love to give. His favourite things are tennis balls and fuss from his favourite handlers. He has remained housetrained during his stay in kennels Fozzy has previously been happy being left for a few hours at a time, so this is something that could be reintroduced with his new family. He is happy enough to jump into the car but can get a bit stressed when moving so would appreciate some support with this. He will be a great addition in a home where it’s possible to avoid other dogs as he really is a brilliant dog when away from other pooches.
