About This Dog for Adoption

Georgia's ideal home

Georgia is looking for a calm and quiet home who will give her plenty of time to find her feet, build her confidence and settle in. She can live with children aged 14 years and over who will interact gently with her and understand that she may take some time to feel at home when she is first adopted. Georgia is a little unsure when meeting other dogs and prefers to make space for herself or just keep her distance, she could live with a calm and gentle dog that will give her space, or be the only dog in the home, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. Georgia doesn't mind time alone, we would recommend alone time being built up to 4 hours with breaks once she has settled in to her new home. Georgia walks well on her lead and appears to know a few basics, but will benefit from owners who will undertake all her training including housetraining, as such she will need regular access to her own private and secure garden for this and for pottering and playing. Georgia will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.

Could you be Georgia's perfect match?

Georgia is a snuggly 1 year old Collie/shepherd cross with a gentle and independent nature who loves to explore the great outdoors and have fun adventures. She takes her time to build a bond with someone, but with patience, some fun games and tasty treats she is soon swishing her lovely tail, engaging in playful antics and even jumping up for lap cuddles. Georgia is a real sweetheart who doesn’t ask for much in life, just to be by your side being the best friend to her new family.
