About This Dog for Adoption

Meg's ideal home

Beautiful girl Meg is a sweeter older lady at 10, but she is still full of energy. She loves going for her walks and often has excited tippy tappy toes when she sees her lead! Meg can share her home with other dogs, and children around secondary school age. She loves cuddles, tasty treats and her toys!

Could you be Meg's perfect match?

Meg would be best placed with a family who are home for most of the day, and for any time that she is left home alone to be built up gradually. She can be worried by some handling and the car, so would love a patient family who can build up her confidence. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council.

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
