About This Dog for Adoption

Dove's ideal home

Dove is looking for a home with active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures and give her time to settle in and provide her with all of the love and care she deserves. She can live with older primary school children who can give her time to get to know them, who will play with her nicely and can give her space to rest when needed. Dove could live with a confident and established dog who will give her confidence to come out of her shell, this would be pending successful meets at the rehoming centre, this is not a necessity she would be happy with polite and friendly walking buddies. Dove has very little training under her belt, she is a clever girl and can be encouraged to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. She likes to potter and explore at her leisure so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Dove does settle in the home so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, however this would need to be built up once she has had time to settle into her new home. Dove will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Dove's perfect match?

Beautiful and sweet natured girl Dove is a 1 year old Labrador, Collie cross with a heart of gold. She adores fusses and attention once she knows and trusts you, she especially likes a back scratch and will keep coming back for more. She likes playtime, she will chase and bound around after toys that are thrown for her and when she has had enough she will wander around with a soft toy in her mouth. This lovely lass is on the hunt for her new home.
