About This Dog for Adoption

Jim's ideal home

Jim is a sweet-natured 1½-year-old boy who can be shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience he warms up quickly. He’s excitable around other dogs and can come across a bit rude, so he’ll need ongoing socialisation to help him learn appropriate manners. Jim can live with children aged 14+ but needs to be the only pet in the home. With his high energy levels, he’ll thrive with adopters who can give him plenty of physical exercise- he loves playing with his toys- and mental enrichment to keep him happy and fulfilled.

Could you be Jim's perfect match?

Jim will need adopters who can commit to several meets at the centre to build trust and a strong bond before he goes home. He can be left for a few hours, but this will need to be done gradually, and he’ll also need some basic training, including help with housetraining. With understanding, consistency, and a willingness to take things at his pace, Jim will grow into a loyal and loving companion—a wonderful addition to the right home.
