Byron's ideal home
Byron is an adorable 4 month old Collie pup looking for a family that can help him learn about the wide world and continue his training. He is a friendly boy and can exhibit typical puppy behaviour such as jumping up and mouthing, due to this he would be best suited to a home where any children are of primary school age or older. He has not lived with a cat before but we have seen no prey drive from him and given his age, he has potential to join a home with a dog savvy cat with careful introductions. Byron is underconfident around dogs and will need further dog socialisation to help him feel more comfortable around them. He would be best as the only dog in the home and would benefit from puppy classes to help set him up with the basic skills for life. Byron would benefit from a garden to assist with toilet training and so he has outside access while building confidence with the outside world.

Byron came into us with very little information having been found as a stray. He is a fun, friendly pup who has not had the best of starts and as such can be worried and need reassurance. He will need someone around with him the majority of the time to help him settle into his new home and leaving hours will need to be introduced gradually.
