Cherry's ideal home

Meet gorgeous girl Cherry, a 2.5-year old Collie x SBT looking for her forever home. Cherry is under-socialised and is a bit avoidant of other dogs, but there is a potential for her to live with a calm, well-mannered dog. Any children in the home will need to be 16yrs+ as she is so worried of new people, but she is slowly coming out of her shell! She would really benefit from a patient owner who is happy to go at her speed, and show her that the world isn't so scary!
Cherry is doing her best at being brave, and will slowly sit next to you and building up to asking for a fuss - she will be such a rewarding companion for a calm, quiet family. Cherry is happy to have a sniff of new environments but is very wary, so any new scenarios will need to be slowly introduced. She is currently in a kennel with her siblings, and eats well with them, sharing her toys and food nicely.
Cherry will be a work-in-progress and will need lots of TLC in her new home, but once she comes out of her shell and builds that bond with you, will be such a wonderful companion.

Cherry is looking for an adult only home, that is quiet, calm and loving. She will take some time to build a relationship, but once she is comfortable and happy, she will be a wonderful girl. She has been left for 4-6 hours in the home previously but she was with other dogs, so this time will need to be built up slowly in her new environment. Cherry may also need a little bit of support with her house-training, although she does try her best to keep her space clean!
