About This Dog

Bertie's ideal home

Bertie is a sensitive boy who is looking for a home with a keen interest in training. He does have his worries around both people and dogs so is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no visiting children, and will also need to be the only pet in the home. Bertie will need a secure garden all of his own so he can enjoy lots of play in a safe environment, and will need a safe space within the home that he can retreat to if he needs time alone or if visitors are around. Bertie takes time to build a relationship with people so will need any adopters to visit the centre several times before going home with them.

Could you be Bertie's perfect match?

Bertie is only 1 years old and can’t wait to find his perfect match. He came into our care as a stray so little is known about his past, a home where all the basics such as housetraining, time left alone and car travel can be introduced would be ideal. However, he has been fully housetrained here at the centre and jumped into a car so is showing positive signs in these areas.
