About This Dog

Hazel's ideal home

Hazel is a gentle soul who hasn’t entirely made up her mind what she thinks about things. She asks for fuss but can get a bit worried and shows this through her body language. For this reason she’s best not to live with young children, but those of secondary school age would be fine. Hazel can also live with dogs as long as they get on well in centre meets first.

Could you be Hazel's perfect match?

Hazel is a 7 year old Border Collie who came into our care after being found as a stray. She likes being near people though isn’t always comfortable with this so will need a family who will listen to her body language and help her feel less conflicted. We don’t know anything about Hazel’s former life so she might need a bit of a helping hand finding her paws in a home. She does jump straight into a car though, and if it’s raining she would much rather stay there, too!
