About This Dog for Adoption
Myrtle's ideal home
Myrtle is a 4 year old Border Collie. She is looking for a quiet and patient home where she can spend lots of time with her family. Myrtle would like her new family to be around for most of the day and build up how long she is left for. She loves to be near you and enjoys a fuss. Myrtle loves going on her walks but can become easily overwhelmed, and so would like to have access to quiet walking areas where she can work on her socialisation and confidence. She walks lovely on lead and enjoys a good sniff. Out and about Myrle will approach new people but can be unsure when saying hello. She lacks confidence when meeting other dogs and will require more practice to build this, however she can walk nicely with another polite dog at a short distance. Myrtle travels well but needs a helping hand getting into the car. Myrtle would love her own garden to play in and work on her training. She would like to be the only pet in the home, but could live with older secondary school aged children. AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.
