About This Dog

Nyx's ideal home

Say hello to Nyx! An affectionate 8 month old Collie with a playful character. Nyx is a proper cuddle bug, known to do a collie cuddle and jump up for fusses whenever he can. He enjoys playing and can often be seen running and rolling around with his favourite toys - and in classic Collie fashion, he also likes a good old tennis ball! Nyx loves meeting new people, instantly jumping up for cuddles, but he may need time to settle into his new home before having too many visitors round. Once you’ve earnt his trust, you’ll really become his person, the one he relies on if he’s feeling worried or needs reassurance and that connection will be very special!

Could you be Nyx's perfect match?

Nyx’s ideal home would be in a smaller residential or rural area and he would really benefit from having his own garden, so he has his own safe space if needed. Access to quiet walks from his home is essential, as he gains confidence with car rides and busy roads, and he would thrive living with another dog who can help boost his confidence. He’d be happy living with secondary school aged children, given they are dog savvy and understand the ways of a collie or a nervous dog - he just needs a bit of time and space to adjust. Most importantly, Nyx will need adopters who are patient and willing to progress at a pace that he feels comfortable with.
