About This Dog

Max's ideal home

Meet Max, He is a friendly, energetic Pointer cross who loves his food, toys, and getting out for walks. Max is a sociable boy who greets people with enthusiasm and affection, although he can be a little bouncy at times while he says hello.
He is confident exploring new environments and takes everything in his stride with a relaxed attitude. Max has lived in a home before and is used to family life, including living with children, though his excitable nature means he’d suit children primary school aged and above
Max would need to be the only pet in the home for now while he works on his social skills, as he can be a little over-excited when meeting other dogs. He also has a strong prey drive, so will need to stay on lead around other animals

Could you be Max's perfect match?

Max is looking for an active home that can continue his basic training, particularly around loose lead walking and improving his dog-to-dog interactions.
He enjoys playing with toys like balls and tug, and will benefit from plenty of mental stimulation and exercise. Max can be left for short periods, but this will need to be built up gradually in a new home.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and lively companion and are happy to guide him with training and structure, Max could make a fantastic addition to your home
