Lila's ideal home
Lila is a friendly and active 8-year-old Collie Cross Lab looking for a home where any children are of secondary school age or older. She'd like to be the only dog but would love her forever home to continue positive dog socials to build her confidence. She may be able to live with a cat, as she has done so successfully before, and small animals if kept separate. She has been left for long periods in the past but would benefit from a home that can build her leaving hours. Lila will also need support building confidence with car travel and continuing gentle work around wearing a harness.

Lila is our sweet tennis ball obsessed 8-year-old collie x lab. She enjoys playing, exploring, and sniffing on walks, while also being content to do her own thing and relax. She is very food-motivated (and a quick eater!) but shows no signs of guarding, making training enjoyable and rewarding. Lila has been friendly with everyone she’s met here at the centre. While she can feel a little unsure around dogs up close, she looks to her handler for reassurance, showing her strong potential to grow in confidence. With her loving nature and playful personality, Lila would make a wonderful companion in a home ready to give her time, guidance, and plenty of tennis balls!
