Porter's ideal home
Porter is a sensitive boy who would love to find a calm and patient family to help him flourish. He wants to be friendly but is a worried soul and so won't want to live with young children. Sensible secondary school kids would be fine though. Porter would like to be the only dog in the home for now. While we have no history of Porter around cats, he does have the potential to live with them, pending successful scent swaps. This would be in a home that can take introductions gradually, with the ability to keep them separate at first.

Porter is a sweet lad who came into our care after being found as a stray. He’s around 4 years old and we don’t know what he’s experienced before, but he is an anxious soul who currently thinks the big wide world is quite scary. With no known history he’ll benefit from an introduction to the basics, from housetraining, to being left, to car travel. Porter is already forming some lovely bonds with his handlers in centre and if you’ve got a soft spot for a melty Collie then he’d definitely up your alley. He will need his family to be sensible though, and realise that underneath his clinginess he’s still getting used to handling and fuss.
