About This Dog

Bennet's ideal home

Bennet is a 4yr old Collie, he is a sweet timid boy looking for a patient and understanding family that can help him settle into his new home and build confidence. He is underconfident around other dogs and has a strong herding instict towards other animals so would be best suited as the only pet in his new home and would benefit from further socialisation around dogs once settled to help him build his confidence. He is a friendly boy but would be worried by loud noises/fast movements so would be best suited to a home where any children are of Secondary School age and older and can be understanding of his timid nature. Bennet will need to be kept on lead when outside of the home so would like his own secure garden to explore and play in when at home. He will need someone at home with him most of the time initially and any leaving hours will need to be built up at a pace he is comfortable with.

Could you be Bennet's perfect match?

Bennet is a sweet boy who would is looking for a quiet home location and environment with a loving family that can offer him the reassurance he needs to come out of his shell. He has previously been housetrained and knows "sit". He will make a lovely companion to the right home.
