About This Dog for Adoption

Hollie's ideal home

Meet Hollie the Collie! She is about 1 year old and cannot wait to find her new home! Hollie can live with a quietly confident dog who can show her the ropes, she can be a little worried of new dogs initially but she does want to say hi, so her new best friend must be able to give her some space initially. Hollie can live with secondary school aged children that can give her some time and patience to settle into her new home. Once Hollie knows you, she loves to cuddle, she also loves food, which will help with any training that she may need. Hollie has come to us from another rescue and does need work on her basic training, including time being left alone.

Could you be Hollie's perfect match?

Hollie is an incredibly sweet girl. She is underconfident, so is looking for patient and understanding owners that can show her lots of love, affection and show her the world is not a scary place. Hollie loves to meet new people but can be a little worried initially, but a tasty treat or two helps her gain her confidence. When Hollie knows you, she loves to cuddle. Hollie is unsure how to play with toys, so would love a family that can show her how toys can be fun! She will chase a ball, but doesn't know what to do when she gets there. Hollie cannot wait to find her new family that can show her the ropes and help her gain her confidence.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
