About This Dog

After months of debate, I’ve decided I need to rehome my Border Collie x Heeler, Skye.

She is the most amazing dog, cuddly playful loves her food… too much.

But she has been so difficult to train. And because of this she’s now got a resource guarding issue and after having puppies has grown a massive dislike to my female chihuahua (who I’ve had for 8 years) she walks on leads very well but is reactive to other dogs (vocal and pulls, never got close enough to another dog to know if it is a physical aggression) she’s absolutely fine with my male collie. And doesn’t like cats. Brilliant with children tho very clumsy 🤦‍♀️ this hasn’t been an easy decision as we have had her since she was about 8-12 weeks old she’s now just over 2 years.
I just believe she needs more centred training and attention than what we can give her unfortunately.
I love her to bits and don’t want to do this but I’m at my wits end.

She won’t be going for free. And I will have to come check you have the space and time for her.
She is chipped so details will need changing also.

If you or someone you know would like take on this bundle of joy please pop me a message. Or text me

Border Collie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Border Collie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
