Meet Burdock, our handsome 2yo Staffie x Collie! This sweet boy came into our care a little underconfident but with lots of love to give. Burdock would prefer to live in a quieter home where children are 14+ and are able to understand when he needs his alone time. Due to never being left in the house before, Burdock would need a patient family who are willing to build up his leaving hours very slowly initially. He has also been very brave both at the vets and in his daily activities with formal and informal handling. He does need people to go slow with him at first but will enjoy a fuss once he gets to know you.

Could you be Burdock's perfect match?

Burdock can be a little unsure when meeting new people but comes around quickly if you go slow with him. He is housetrained and tries his best to keep his kennel clean! Burdock has lived with dogs before and could possibly live with another dog, pending a successful meet at our centre. He loves his enrichment and mental stimulation, which will come in handy with training and building up his leaving hours. Due to being a mix of Staffie and Collie Burdock loves his exercise and will run around a paddock or chase a tennis ball for hours at a time! Once he's let out all of his energy, Burdock will happily curl up for a cosy nap on the sofa! We can't wait for this handsome boy to find his forever home.
