About This Dog

Kitty's ideal home

Kitty will need a home where she can be the only dog whilst she gains confidence, but can have walking friends. She is very nervous so a quiet household where any children are over 16 will be required, and with a secure garden. We have no history for Kitty so cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to spending time alone.

Could you be Kitty's perfect match?

Kitty is very concerned about the situation she finds herself in and doesn't quite know what to do about it. She is desperate to make friends with people but her nervousness keeps getting in the way and she hides behind her familiar handlers. When she takes a minute to realise that she is OK, she will come to you for a fuss and give her tail a wag which is a joy to see. Her new family will need to patient and committed to helping her gain confidence in all aspects of life. Kitty will readily head out for walks and approach other dogs for an investigative sniff but we keep interactions short at the moment to give her a more positive experience with them. Calm dogs that don't interact too much with Kitty are the ones she's happier with. We don't know what her background is but her coat isn't in the best condition and she may have been kept outside. She deserves an indoor, cosy life with a loving family that will take things slowly and introduce her to toys and play.
