About This Dog for Adoption

Lainey's ideal home

Meet Lainey, an adorable 11-month-old Collie eager to find her forever family. She gets along well with other dogs both on and off-lead and could thrive with a canine companion after successful introductions. Lainey is friendly but is also a nervous girl, she is sound-sensitive this is something the training team can go over with any new home, so an adult-only home would be ideal. A garden is essential for her, as her shy nature may initially prevent her from going on walks until she gains confidence with her surroundings.

Could you be Lainey's perfect match?

Lainey is also a bit anxious around car rides and would benefit from gradual exposure to build her confidence. She needs someone home most of the time to help her settle in, but once she feels secure, she could be left alone for short periods of 1-2 hours.

This gentle girl still has much to learn and, having been found as a stray, we have limited information about her past and she will need support with house training. Lainey’s favourite thing to do is carry teddy bears and play with squeaky toys. Could you open your home and heart to this delightful companion?
