About This Dog for Adoption

Ned's ideal home

Ned will need a home who is willing to research his breed traits so they can understand what he needs most to be as content as possible. He needs to be the only pet in the home as he has a history of chasing cats and squirrels. Ned would really benefit from a private and secure garden for him to chill out in. He will need a family willing to build up his leaving hours as has shown to be very distressed when left at the centre. Due to Neds nervousness when meeting new people, he will need adopters willing to stick to an intro plan. He can live with older children as long as they come to the behaviour chat. Ned’s new adopters will need to be willing to continue his traffic desense and his loose lead walking training to make walks as enjoyable as possible.

Could you be Ned's perfect match?

Ned is our clever, gorgeous collie. If you’re not willing to have an intelligent dog, then you’re barking up the wrong tree! Ned loves showing off his tricks that include spin, down and wait. He is super fun and will play fetch with you for hours on end. Ned can be nervous of new people initially but after a quick play time with tennis balls, you’re in the Ned club! Ned would love an active home who will give him the exercise he needs and a home willing to research his breed traits. He is a fantastic lad with a huge personality who is always keen to learn and expand his (already huge) knowledge!
