Eric's ideal home
Eric is looking for a loving home with understanding, calm and patient adopters. He could share his home with teenage children. It would be beneficial for him to live with another dog as he gains confidence from them. He would best suit a quiet home environment due to his nervous nature. He will be shy of any new people coming into the home, and they can just leave him be if that is what he wants. He will need a secure garden and his home will need to be away from any loud places. He is currently scared of getting into the car and confidence building is something that he is working on. Eris has no history of being in a home and he lacks confidence in new indoor environments. Time left alone is best built up gradually.

Eric is a five-year-old Collie with a sweet, gentle, shy nature. He is happy when you take things at his pace, he loves a fuss once he feels relaxed, he will flinch if you go in too quickly. Eric perks up in the presence of other dogs, he loves their company and likes a game of chase with them with lots of happy play-bows. He reads their social cues well and can also happily walk with other dogs and enjoy them being with him. Eric likes treats, he is a blank canvas with his basic training and that will come in time. He is worried by toys; he dislikes them being thrown and he is worried of the squeaky noise that some of them make. Eric enjoys having a good roll on the grass, especially when it is slightly wet or frosty. He makes everyone laugh!
