Gibson's ideal home
Gorgeous Gibson is a handsome, smart chappy who is keen to learn new tricks. He needs an adult-only home as he guards resources that are important to him, including people. Gibson's curiosity leads him to sniff and explore and although he must be the only dog in the home, he can have friends out and about. He can live with cats, but will chase birds. Gibson likes a fuss on his own terms. He is worried by close handling so any new owner would need to continue his muzzle programme so that he can be safely examined by vets. Once settled in his new home, Gibson could be left for up to 4 hours on his own with a few toys and the radio/tv on.

Gibson loves his food and his toys, especially squeaky ones. He can be unsure of too much hands on attention and would like a go slow approach while he bonds with his new family. Gibson is housetrained and also knows basic commands (sit, down, paw and spin). He walks on a harness and does pull on lead. Our brilliant team here at the centre would love to show you his training programme which also includes learning to be less sensitive to traffic and loud or sudden noises (such as fireworks). If you are shortlisted for Gibson please be aware that a meet will be arranged within 48 hours and your new family member will be home with you within 10 days.
