About This Dog for Adoption
Ringo's ideal home
Ringo can live with children over the age of 12 but will need to be the only dog at home as he is very wary of others. He will need all his basic training as he has had quite a sheltered life.
Could you be Ringo's perfect match?
Ringo is a nervous lad who has been kept inside a house with no access outside, and hasn't been treated very nicely. Before his arrival at the centre, Ringo has never worn a lead or gone for a walk, but he's taking to it the best he can. He likes a slow approach and to be allowed to go up to people first, so that he can check them out. Although Ringo has come from a multi dog household, he is very wary of unfamiliar dogs. Once he has settled into his new home it would be nice for his family to begin building his confidence around other dogs and for him to have some walking friends. Ringo has received no training at all and his adopters will need to be patient with him whilst he gets to grips with basic things like toilet training. He isn't used to toys and shows no interest in them at the moment but hopefully that will change when he begins to relax in his new home.
